The Stale, Continued

Tonight I had the pleasure of hearing the majority of the Under the Influence spoken word event at Empire Espresso here in Columbia City. The four readers were Allison Green, Felicia Gonzalez, Jourdan Keith, and Mira Shimabukuro. I caught Jourdan Keith and Allison Green. Unfortunately, due to seating issues (the place was PACKED), I had to stand in the back, and so the recording of this might be a bit off for some of the reading, but I think a lot of it turned out acceptable.

Here is the description from the Stranger:

Local writers—Allison Green, Felicia Gonzalez, Jourdan Keith, and Mira Shimabukuro— will “read work inspired by Northwest writers.” Presumably, the Northwest writers in question will not be the local writers reading here tonight. Otherwise: Paradox!
